Rotary S.E Hampshire Easter Egg Project

Rotary Easter Egg Project

The Rotary Club’s in South East Hampshire donated large Easter Eggs to Charities, Schools, Projects, Hospices, Food Banks and Schools throughout our local area. The charities raffle the large eggs to raise funds.

The project led by Havant Rotary’s Geoff James, has been running in Havant for the last four years. However, this year we were joined by the majority of local clubs in the area and a total of 146 eggs were purchased.

The price of chocolate had risen dramatically in the last year and with a change of supplier from previous years, the size of the eggs  increased to 2KG.

It has to be stressed that it is the charities and other receipients that raise the money themselves. The results that they have achieved are amazing

An exciting element to this project is that the Easter Egg project has enabled over 140  individual projects to raise funds that will help them with their work.

We are however delighted to report the following results:

Total Amount Raised

£36,600
