The Clubfoot Walk – Havant Rotary

Clubfoot is fully treatable. However, if le􀅌 untreated, a child will have a deformed foot for life. They will be disadvantaged and will struggle to walk, or play sports etc. That can o􀅌en lead them to be shunned by society. Havant Rotary is working together with iinternational organisations as part of a concerted worldwide effort to improve the accessibility of treatment for children under the “Runfree 2030” banner. The Clubfoot Walk gives children in the UK that can walk, the opportunity to help children that can't around the world.

Warsash Festival

Strawberry Fields The Strawberry Fields, Warsash, United Kingdom

Starting in 2025 The Rotary Club of Locks Heath have taken on the organisation of the Warsash Festival. We would like to extend our thanks to Matt & the outgoing committee, and promise that we will strive to continue their success! Along with ourselves, we are sure that all attendees of previous events echo our thanks for their efforts over the years. Our roots go back to the Solent Celebration that took place in the year 2000 to celebrate the new millennium. From then, every two years in early July, the Strawberry Field (which is off Newtown Road in Warsash) turned into a wonderful village fair. The Warsash Festival grew to become a dynamic celebration of life in the local community, and in 2019 the glorious weather attracted over 7000 people to the event. The Festival is the ideal opportunity for local businesses, organisations and clubs to promote who they are and what they do and raise money for their own good causes.

Gosport Rotary Vehicle Rally

Stokes Bay Gosport, United Kingdom

Every August Bank Holiday weekend, the Rotary club takes over the playing fields at Stokes Bay to host a display of scores of vintage vehicles from across the region. Such is the event's reputation, that the owners of a range of impressive vehicles head to the south coast each summer especially to take part in the show. But you don't have to be a petrol-head to enjoy the event. This is a family day by the Solent - and the sun normally shines brightly! Besides the array of gleaming car, bikes and trucks, there will be a feast of entertainment including a samba band, a petting farm, Juggling Jake's circus skills, a range of different stalls, plus refreshments.
