Warsash Festival has been running as a biennial event for the local community since the year 2000. It was inaugurated as a Millennium Celebration attracting some 7000 local residents to the summer fete and arena events. This has been an event that Locks Heath Rotary has attended with its side stalls and which has contributed well to our fund raising efforts. The event itself held during July as far as the author can remember has always taken place in warm British summer sunshine on the Strawberry Field in the heart of Warsash village. Unfortunately the event had not been held since 2022, until Locksheath Rotary took over the organisation in 2025, and ran a most successful Festival on July 5th. There will once again be a Warsash Festival in 2026, on July 4th, so please come along and support us and enjoy the event.

Southsea Castle Rotary are taking part in Relay for Life in Portsmouth and invite  members to join in. Relay For Life celebrates the power of community fundraising in the fight to beat cancer. Teams of friends, families and colleagues fundraise for research to save and improve lives, then unite as a community at an event to honour everyone affected by cancer and celebrate the progress we’re making to beat it. The event is focused around a relay where team members take turns completing an activity – whether that be laps of a track, walks through a park or some other challenge – to show that step by step, together we are beating cancer.

GOSPORT Rotary Club's Vehicle Rally and Family Day is now in its 72nd year - and this year takes place on Monday, August 31. Every August Bank Holiday weekend, the Rotary club takes over the playing fields at Stokes Bay to host a display of scores of vintage vehicles from across the region. Such is the event's reputation, that the owners of a range of impressive vehicles head to the south coast each summer especially to take part in the show.

Havant Rotary's Easter Egg Quiz raises funds to help the club purchase large Easter Eggs that are then donated to local charities and projects to help them raise funds.
